Had a wonderful day with my daughter today for her 7th birthday. First stop was Think Pink Nails on Jl Batu Belig in Seminyak.
OMG...this place is amazing! From the minute you walk in the door (there's a doorman!) till you leave, you will be truly pampered. I chose the signature mani & pedi, 250,000rp with the largest choice of nail polishes I've ever seen. You could choose OPI, Butter, China Glaze, or for an extra cost the premium brands like Chanel.
Sienna had the kids mani & pedi 100,000 rp and there was a special chair for her to sit in, so cute!
The white leather massage seats were so comfy, much nicer than the ones in shopping centres back home. I had a young man attending to my feet & a young girl to my fingernails. Both were very skilled & took great care in making sure I was happy with the shape of my nails.
I ordered a capuccino to sip while my nails were drying & it was really good. Had a chat with the owner, she is an attractive & very stylishly dressed Indonesian lady who lived in New York for 20 years. She markets Think Pink Nails as a 'New York city style nail parlour'... There was even a 3D puzzle in the shape of the Empire State Building!
Over in the nail bar section, there are iPads to use while you are having your nails done - Sienna said they offered her use of one, but she was happy to just watch the lady do her nails.
We also bought a cute bracelet each from the salon.
Upon leaving, they offered to drop us back at our hotel, but we were heading off shopping, so instead they dropped us at our next destination...Coco & Ginger (a kids clothing shop).
It was then I remembered that if you book ahead, they will also pick you up from your hotel - dang, I could of saved me the taxi fare on the way there!
Next stop after Think Pink Nails was a girls clothing shop called Coco & Ginger. Sienna has only just started wearing dresses this year (she's quite a tom boy)... so I promised her she could choose a pretty new dress at this shop on Jl Batu Belig not far down the road from the nail salon.
After Coco & Ginger we catch a taxi to Bungalow Living in Canggu. I have been following this shop & cafe on Instagram & they always post lovely photos.
It's a beautiful shop selling home wares & has yummy healthy food.
Really enjoyed my veggie burger & Sienna had a banana honey cinnamon smoothie.
We chatted to the friendly Aussie owner & she asked to take some photos of Sienna with her big poodle 'BB King' for her Instagram page.

After our visit to Bungalow Living, we ventured across the road to Butter Cake & Coffee Shop - Gita, the owner is sister-in-law of the owner of Bungalow Living. Here we picked up the most amazing birthday cake for Sienna. I had ordered the cake via email a few weeks prior to our trip. When I arrived home, I found emails from the store asking what my daughter's name was. As I didn't bother reading my emails in Bali, I didn't see it. Not to worry, the cake still looked lovely :)
After picking up the cake, we headed back to our hotel & enjoyed an afternoon swim. We decided to have the cake for afternoon tea as Sienna was just busting to try it & she couldn't wait until dinner time!
Sienna had requested a visit to La Plancha for her birthday, so we headed off late afternoon to get a bean bag before it got too busy.
Met this lovely lady last year & of course she remembered me... (that's what she said anyway)... Here she is with Sienna, helping her choose some anklets/bracelets with cute tassels

Such a great place to sit & watch the sunset while sipping a cool drink & listening to the great chill out music...

We had intended to try somewhere different for Sienna's birthday dinner tonight, but after spending a few hours at La Plancha & the big day out we had shopping, she just felt like having dinner back at the hotel.
We sat by the pool & ordered some Indo favourites like nasi goreng, mie goreng & satay chicken.
What a fabulous day :)
